Whoa, 15, get outta here... I'm mostly a Geddy (bass + keyboards) who plays a little guitar, but when I heard these guitar riffs, I thought it was an older 70's/80's guitarist hashing out riffs from the past... esp with Working Man, Fly By Night, Xanadu, La Villa Strangiato, and YYZ....

Good stuff, MusicalAbby2112... may I suggest a few other songs to learn that you will enjoy for a long Rush time? -- The Oracle, The Trees, Broon's Bane, Different Strings, Red Barchetta, Manhattan Project, Time Stand Still, Show Don't Tell, or Resist....

wow thanks! :D

TBR's "Top Ten" recommendations to MusicalAbby2112... or as I will call her from here on in, "The Kid."

1. Keep practicing your ass off...

2. Never mind learning the flute, trombone, trumpet or clarinet... (just in case you're in the high school band)

3. Join up with some cool cats who are equally as able as you are... (they will surely be about 5 years older, but who gives a sh**?)

4. Start writing material influenced by Rush and Dream Theater...

5. Quit school...

6. Don't tell your parents...

7. If your parents find out, DON'T tell them that TBR told you do it... (Blame it on the devil.)

8. When you have money falling out of your pockets, give 10% of proceeds to the Canadian guy (TBR, just so you don't mix me up with some other Canadian guy) who made all these killer recommendations back in March, 2013...

9. Practice your signature...

10. Get prepared to travel... a lot...

I'm glad you included I think I'm Goin' Bald!

well I did a riff from every album!

Hey, how's "The Kid" doing today?? (You're biggest fan is up in Canada...) I'm also glad you included "I Think I'm Going Bald." I remember one of my first garage bands... we were trying to learn that damn song. The guitar play then was only 12 but he was able to figure it out and, well, "more-or-less" nailed it.

Now, get off the goddam computer and go back to practicing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember, I get 10%...
