That said, the fact that it's the first and only full-on concept album, AND the fact that it's filled with such amazingly strong material and the theme works like the best concept albums do (strong theme with most of the songs still working on their own), I think we pretty much have a no-brainer in terms of an all-time classic. The thing that nails it for me are amazing songs and the good to great accolades it has received in the press. Hard to find negative press. That opinion isn't going to change. I can't speak for others but this album is not going to weaken in time. I think it will get stronger in retrospect.
