And Luke Cage! And Shang Chi! And Iron Fist! And Morbius the Living Vampire! And Werewolf by Night! There was talk of a Black Panther tv show (animated, I believe) on BET network a few years back. I'm pretty sure that never happened. I can't imagine him hitting the big screen either (unless it's as an extremely brief cameo in an Avengers flick). I've said it before, Cage/Fist/Shang-Chi are all DYING to be in the same film made by Tarantino. All the blaxploitation and kung fu jokes, action, and gimmicks are all there for the taking. Morbius is waiting to be in a Spidey film. Werewolf by Night is kind of f*cked because of all the other previously failed werewolf movies. They did make the animated Black Panther series. Here is the complete first episode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUQgWcmqYcw&feature=related Is Stan Lee doing one of the voices. the white house official? The animation is a bit crap...but it's not bad. The music is pretty annoying though... Just saw episode 1. Yeah, that's Stan Lee's voice. The music is indeed shit. That animation is totally intentional and I think fitting in this case. Was good to see Captain America get knocked out. And he was even more of a dick than usual in this... Yeah, GOOD! I'd love to see HBO or some other cable channel do something with no-holds-barred violence for an Invaders cartoon: World War 2 combat, racism, Sub-Mariner slaughtering Nazis, Cap & Bucky killing on every mission, Human Torch incinerating entire military camps. Would be good fun! That would be awesome! The Invaders was my favorite comic when I use to read comic books. Yeah, I remember having some too. Sub-Mariner and Cap were always 2 of my favorites. Invaders was just a different kind of comic too...."different" like the Defenders mag was different. But who am I kidding? I liked pretty much all of it at the time except Howard the Duck and Spider-Woman.
treeduck
QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Jul 26 2012, 10:46 PM) As the Surfer rebelled against Galactus so shall I rebel against Stan "The Man" Lee! Excelsior! There's a lot of interesting history in the early days with Stan and the comic industry. You should read a little about it if you haven't already. I think you'd like it. For one thing he was never a big fan of costumes in general. But he's the guy who spawned a million costumes!
