My nephew, Ian, has a new band called "HoeCity". The name refers to the reputation of the girls in his neighboring town ( ). According to my brother in law...

The music style is called "metal hardcore mixed with beatdown" (beatdown is to be taken by word: It is a speciality of German metal hardcore, where the listeners beat and attack each other in the so-called "mosh pit" in the middle of the fans on special music parts of the songs or on request of members of the band. There may be some casualties, but at least bruises and some smaller wounds."

 

As you'll see, the opening track from their Rheinberg gig, "Ho Do You Do?", meets that description.

 

 

Their Facebook page has four original tracks...including the cleverly named "Miss Gbrt", a play on the German word, "misgeburt".
