Well, I was inspired to write #6 by the song Vicarious by Tool which basically talks about the thrill people get from watching other people's suffering on the TV. As for #8, I kinda forgot what that was about since I wrote it 3 or 4 years ago but as best as I can recall I was just writing about nature.
