The opening to the wreckers

When I first listened to the 30 sec clip of the wreckers.

I was waiting to hear " WERE ALL ALRIGHT " from the

cheap trick song on that 70s show.

Did anybody else think that this sounded like that cheap trick song?

I can't wait to hear the whole thing.

No, I didn't hear/notice any similarity between the two songs... and even listening again after you pointed this out, I STILL don't hear any similarity! tongue.gif

Sounds like a Foo Fighters melody until the strumming begins.  Big Foos fan, so "otay" by me.  biggrin.gif

That's what I heard too.

"It's times like these......"

Rush really IS a sponge if the whole song sounds like that! laugh.gif

Oh yeah, well Seven Cities of Gold sounds like PF's "Have a Cigar".

Not even close. Did I miss you making a funny ?

I heard something that sounded Floyd-ish but 7 cities sounds Funky like a Chili Peppers song.

Not meant to be a funny. Maybe it was another song but I will have to revisit the samples. I totally heard that bass pause of HAC.
