Rush played philly night john bohamn died

The author of the band biography Visions was present at this show and wrote this brief account:

 

"On September 25, Rush made their long awaited Philadelphia appearance. In a strange coincidence a member of Led Zeppelin, the band that had most influenced Rush in their early years, died that day. John Bonham's pounding drum style had given Zeppelin the strong bottom that Page, Plant and Jones had built upon. The soaking wet crowd at the sold-out show were subdued. Rush played a weak set. Bruised and sullen storm clouds obscured the light of this day."
