English Muffin Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 So I'm on my laptop and it seems that the CPU works fine for about 5-10 mins but it then dies and is stuck on 0-4% usage. As far as i can see there is nothing going on but why would it do something like that? Digital Man Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 If your comptuer is sitting idle and you aren't running any programs the CPU won't be doing anything. Mine is sitting between 0-4% right now. Can you still use your computer? Do your porgrams work? Can you browse the Internet? It's probably busy the first 10 minutes or so with start up programs, services and probably anti-virus updates or scans. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
