napoleonj Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 has anyone notice that geddy has an additional mic on his stand... it's really low. like knee level. what's it for? he and alex both have an additional shock mount about midway up on their stands but i can't tell if there are mics there too. are they pumping in crowd noise to the mains or micing their crotches? From personal experience when you wear in-ear monitors they block out almost all of the crowd noise and you lose that "live" feel.
