Presto-digitation
How did they translate live? Which better?
Merely Space
They both worked really well. Both got the crowd going. I went in with a slight preference for BU2B. So I was suprised that Caravan seemed to work slightly better live. Incidently, I felt that Geddy's new bass tone for the two songs seemed to have invaded the rest of the show. His bass really stood out through out. Very aggressive sounding. Damn, it was cool.
Presto-digitation
Sweet. They seem pretty charged up to listen to them talk. I think all of this attention they're getting is being channeled aggressively. Yay!
Merely Space
Yeah, that's what it seems like to me, as well. They were all on top of their respective games last night. They seem very excited, very creative. Can't wait to see what comes out of the recording sessions after this little "warm up" they are doing. mountaineeroflamneth
Very good point. I think that playing live in the middle of the recording of an album could be a very good thing. They wrote all the songs on the road in the early days and got away from when they slowed the process down later on. I think it will be very good influence on the process! Mara
Wicked good. I can't tell you how excited I am to hear these two live; I kind of guessed from the start that Caravan in particular would surpass the studio version. It just begs for a live performance.
