Saratoga Springs show

i'm looking into taking the train from new york penn station to saratoga springs for the show. once i get off at saratoga, how far is the venue from the train station?

A few miles. I would not call it walking distance but I did it back in 88 when the Dead played there. Call up and see if there is shuttle service from the station.

any idea how long the train ride is from nyc?

Depending on the stops, somewhere between 2 and 2 1/2 hours if my memory serves me right. Friday might be a different story though.

Its two and a half hours to Albany.

Probably at least another half an hour to Saratoga.

They usually change crew at Albany so your looking at a bare minimum three hours from Penn Station.

SPAC Is my fave place to see Rush I can't recommend it highly enough.

before i get some tickets i need to find out info on possible shuttle buses to and from the train station. if it looks like a runaround, i might have to go to a different show. i wouldn't mind driving but my car would never make it.
