I got it

Labour Day or Labor Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers. Labour Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.

OK, so for the Tuesday it's DJ's, looks great!!!

Does boston have a certain area that's packed with restaurants and bars?

not really any specific "area"....that's just Boston in general LOL

I picked DJ's because of it's proximity to the Garden, the relative inexpensiveness of the menu, the ability to make reservations and the options on the menu - for those of us who aren't necessarily carnivorous eaters http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif

I didn't mean to ask you on what terms you picked the DJ's, that's fine LSM. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

What I meant was if there are certain areas where it's extremely cosy, and great to hang out. You know, like Monmartre in Paris.

I checked out Little Italy on the web, as it was mentioned before by someone. It looks great from what I can see on the web. Missed BIG Italy this year, as we went to France on vacation. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Do I need to make a reservation? Or can John and me just show up?

you don't have to make a reservation - if you don't plan on eating, you don't need to, but I don't know how packed the place is going to be given it's close proximity to the Garden - that's why I chose a place that took reservations, so we would all be able to reserve our place and not be told that it was full and to move on somewhere else http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

oh yeah, that I'm really not sure about. I never really "did" Boston like some of the other peeps on here I'm sure have done. I'm not a huge drinker, so I've not done nights on the town, so I don't know particularly "cozy" neighborhoods to hang out in and bar hop at night....although Newbury Street and Fanueil Hall/Quincy Market are pretty cool to do Window Shopping (or regular shopping) during the day http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

Got a problem, guys. My two buddies don't want to go anymore because they can't afford anything -- I guess they spent their money on the tickets, heh. I don't want to reserve a table just for myself, but I still want to join in on the pre-concert festivities! What's a guy to do?

If you're planning on eating, I'd still recommend making a reservation...even if it's just for you...I dunno. It's your call http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

Am I right that at DJ's they have only small, simple food to go along with a drink. I mean, not a complete menu?

oh no, they have a complete menu. Click here: DJ's Full Menu

Most likely the amps will not stand there, as they are on the website. Good for U

Hi all,

Am i right it saying the next time http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/2.gif play live its gonna be for US ??

WOW, never thought it would ever come. Seems like years since we started booking things for our trip. Never been so hyped about a gig in my life.

Really looking forward to meeting up with you guys too.

We're not gonna book a table for food, but for sure we'll be at DJ's at some point. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/trink39.gif

Lerxst 69,

Did you manage to get a hotel sorted out mate??

Just an FYI for those not making a reservation - bars right around the Garden can tend to get very crowded and (no joke) reach capacity very quickly, so there's a chance that you may not be allowed in. That's why i recommended making the reservation. Hopefully we'll see you in there!! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/trink39.gif

For us, we'll be heading over to the Garden around 6:30, so hopefully we'll get a chance to see everyone before we leave DJ's!

Do DJ's seriously keep my space free?? What if I show up late? Planning to go to Salem in the morning. Hard to tell what time I will be back. What if I run late?

Anyway, I'll contact them this week.
