ILSnwdog
Well, this is going to be exceedingly simple, but I feel that it's a travesty that one of these have not graced this thread yet. http://images.loqu.com/contents/145/818/image/2010-01-29/4.jpg Bonus points if you can tell me what is special about this particular model. hunter
1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Not sure but found this: in 1967, the L71 option 427/435hp engine with solid lifters and tri-power carburetion set the high-water mark for Corvette performance in cars that were not intended solely for racing purposes. ILSnwdog
Hunter is up. and he was close. It's an L88 Corvette. "As an option code on the 1967 to 1969 models, L88 was an almost secret offering. Chevrolet actively discouraged L88 orders from dealerships and the public. Just what was all the fuss about? The L88 was capable of 171 mph at Le Mans and sported more than 500 horsepower. It was developed for the track and never intended as a boulevard cruiser."
