andrew28
I was just introduced to Muse and their new release - The Resistance, and it's quite good. Musically, they're more similar to Queen, Radiohead and even Supertramp than Rush. But what reminds me of Rush is the cajones it took to create an album this BIG. Definitely worth a listen. ozzy85
Supertramp, there's a name... A couple of weeks back some friends brought the new Muse with them. I do hear a lot of Queen. I'm gonna snag a copy for my wife for her B-day.
andrew28
I highly recommend it. The Supertramp influence is really only one song; but you'll hear Queen influence everywhere. Like I said in my original post, they're only like Rush in that they are very ambitious in what they try to accomplish. Oh, and they're a trio, too. Xanadude69
Check out some other Muse topics we have on here 'The Resistance' has really grown on me. The only songs I don't like are 'Undisclosed Desires' and the 3rd part of Exogenesis was kind of a letdown. It wasn't bad just kind of there. 'Unnatural Selection' and 'MK Ultra' are the best songs IMO
