"DON'T TELL ME YOU LOVE ME" RUSH FAMILY! I don't need love!!! I have MUSIC! I am driving up to Thunder Valley Casino on Friday to see Night Ranger!!! I can't wait!! It's been five years!!!! I love this band! I know I wrote in the header that they are "cheesy" but still THEY ROCK!!! Hell they RULE!! I know Brad Gillis! Thanks to knowing the ex-side of my family! Can't wait to say hi! Did I ever tell you my Rush Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Story???? Well I flew down to LA with the now EX WIFE to see Rush get inducted into the Hall Of Fame! Well right after a nice dinner we started to walk to the venue. I literally bumped into Jack Blades!You know me, I don't care about fame or stars!!!! I just say hey Jack! How's it going man! He looked at my RASH t-shirt and said "cool shirt man you are obviously here for RUSH!" I said, "Hell yes I am! I've seen them 57 times since 1984." Jack said, "Holy shit man, you are the biggest Rush fan on the planet! They are about to do soundcheck so after that I'm going to tell them that you are their biggest fan!" I said, "thanks Jack, YOU FUKKING ROKK!" He thanked me and that was it! It was nice. It's amazing how the majority of the rock stars I have met in my life are totally fukking cool!! Neil blew me off, but as a real fan and real human I knew that was going to happen. Which sucks because I had one chance in my life to meet Neil. Ironically it was on the "Vapor Trails" Tour! HAHAHA! As you know my most hated Rush album. Anyway if I at least had the chance to tell him that I was a drummer of 28 years he might have talked to me. Life goes on! Dawn Patrol & Midnight Madness were the soundtrack of my teen years. I spent hours learning to play all that stuff. I love 'em.
