Der Trommler Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 Eh, part of that has to do with inflation. The bass originally sold for about $699 (if memory serves). Don't forget, there's probably some extra profit in that. You might be able to get the salesguy down to a more comfortable range if you strike at the right time (ie: end of month, sales are down, etc...)
