Oh well, at least I didn't lose a WHOLE WEEK's worth of picks. I'm in for Sunday. And I picked mostly favorites, although I went with the Skins over Dallas. Sometimes I find that over-analyzing something is a bad thing and that I should go with my first inclination on the pick. Kind of a "predicatable" week but then we had the tie game, which was unusual to say the least. I was watching that OT (Philly/Cincy) on ESPN's web site, and it was a crazy back and forth struggle. Then last night, watching my Steelers and due to a safety, the score was 10-8 late in the fourth quarter, with Pittsburgh driving, and in scoring position. They needed a field goal to win, but the announcers were saying that there has never been a 11-10 final score in an NFL game in the history of the NFL. Thats pretty messed up. So, the Steelers kick a field goal and go up 11-10. With a few seconds left they have to kick the ball to the Chargers. With 4 seconds remaining, the Chargers try a pass play and begin lateraling the ball like crazy. Polamalu intercepts a lateral /backwards toss and runs it in to the end zone for an unorthodox 17-10 win. No extra point as time had expired. So much for history.
