Hey Kazz, they have two races where they take a right or two. I was brought up watching ,going to our local 1/2 mile track twice a year was a great when I was a kid. It is the strategy used during the race when to pit how many tires how much gas drafting the car in front of you to make that slingshot pass to win. The crashes are cool too but,whats even better is when the leader of the race either runs out of gas a half lap before the checker flag or blows a tire. So, I don't know much about the sport, its drivers, or strategy. I just know that as of the last couple of years, I think it's awesome. It's wild to watch in hi-def. You should if you haven't ... The north is well represented in Nascar ... Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Michigan, Chicago, Indianapolis, Delaware ... and with the exception of Chicago, those races have been around for decades ... By-Tor Posted February 5, 2005 Share Posted February 5, 2005 I watch because I`m a big race fan. BUT!, Nascar is a bit down the todem pole of racing for me. Formula 1, CART, and sports cars (LeMans-Sebring) are more my liking. When I watch Nascar, I watch anything that is not a 1.5 mile D shaped oval. Like, The Glen, Sears Point, Bristol, Martinsville, Daytona and Talladega. I always root for the good road racers, like Rusty, Martin, Gordon(both).
