Blisters

Recommended Posts

Was just playing around on bass last night and decided to try a new techniqune, using three fingers on my right hard rather than my regular two to knock the strings around, well it started to get a little sore but I carried on now today I woke up with a huge blister right on the tip of my finger where the finger print is taken, I'm pretty sure I must've gotten these when I first started playing bass but I can't remember what I did, probably just waited for them to go away and harden up and then carried on whereas now I'm addicted, I can't miss a few days of practise because of this!!!

What do you think? Is it best to just pop it and carry on, just carry on regardless and give the blister even more stick or should I really give it a few days? Actually I suppose I could go back to 2 fingers but I really wanna make this my new style.
