Tick
Over the years i have written many songs, 9 of which were part of my Prime Element cd. Here are some that were not on that disc... My first entry was one of my darker songs. Fade to Black Roaming through the streets Danger round every corner Watch out who you meet or strangers bearing gifts Living in the past whats the matter did you take the wrong path One too many blasts and now your reaching for your last gasp Its such a shame but who's to blame Day after day feel your life slipping away Its over when he says straighten out before you fade away So now your gonna die because you couldn't do the right thing Your loved ones left behind to dig a hole, and put you in the ground Its such a shame but who's to blame Fade to black... Tick
For my next selection, i bring you a song called... Running out of time Be an athlete, be a model Live in a mansion or live in a bottle Tension builing everyday Time wont make it go away Forget about your carelessness Do what you must to secure your place If you dont care its a cold and empty space And now were running out of time were losing the game the hourglass is cracked and its spilling out the sands of time its written all over your face Forge ahead, stay behind hear the word, remain blind feel the walls closing in swimming in your pool of sin Waiting for your head to explode finally reached complacency mode no one cares, waiting for your demise And now were running out of time were losing the game the hourglass is cracked and its spilling out the sands of time its written all over your face
Tick
This one was one of my darkest little dittys. This is a song about obsessive love... Dont fear my love Im looking through you, i see the lies Dont kid yourself you cant disguise it I see your face i cannot stray from it Id lock you up my dear, if i had to Please try not to cry out loud For no one really cares You know you are the world, the world and... You can run, but ill find you You can hide, but i hear you crying Dont fear my love, theres no denying Its all for you, its all for you Your face glows and im happy Please dont fear me, i wouldn't hurt you There now, there now, thats a good girl I will console you, and take away your fear Please try not to cry out loud For no one really cares You know you are the world, the world and... You can run, but ill find you You can hide, but i hear you crying Dont fear my love, theres no denying Its all for you, its all for you

-D-RocK-
F@n's stuff wasn't bad I thought, a little sappy maybe, a little too sappy maybe. He could have written songs for Celine Dion or maybe even Babs Streisand. Seriously, I had no idea you had recorded and released a CD. I'm curious to know how the entire process went.....i.e. was it difficult, smooth etc. and were you personally satisfied with the end result....? Good to know you are a musician Tick.
