I think it's just a nice change of pace and while the peizo pup can sound like an acoustic, baby it ain't no acoustic. Bad grammar aside, they wrote the new album acoustically and I think Alex has found a certain satisfaction in that and wanted to carry that over to the tour. I loved it on Entre Nous. Agreed. The mandola and acoustic parts of the show were some of the most memorable highlights, IMHO. And Hope on the 12 string acoustic?
