spitball Posted June 21, 2007 Share Posted June 21, 2007 (edited) Hey fellow geetar nerds, this picture (ca. 1980) shows Alex with two guitars rarely seen in photos. I dug it up from the chicks' love thread for Alex. http://home.att.net/~njsignals/es335/alex80.jpg The guitar to the left of the double neck is a black Gibson ES-369. I wonder if he ever recorded with it or if it was just a touring backup. On the extreme left is a ???????. I did once see pictures of him playing this guitar on the Hemispheres Tour at the Capitol Theater, Passaic NJ. Anyone know anything about it? Is it a home-made job? What's with the Star Trek control panel...could this be that ROland guitar Synthesizer mentioned in the Hemi liner notes (was it a guitar or an effect)?
