Too many hard rock and metal fans like Kansas for Goobs, it spoils his elitest

psychedelic/70s prog "image" ie if he's not the authority on it (amongst non-hippy types at least) then he turns his nose up. If Kansas had never had a hit and were so underground we'd never heard of them, then he'd be the biggest Kansas freak alive...

Awesome clip. The best song from their first album, and they've always played it well live. The Two For The Show version smokes.

 

Tree alread posted that great clip of "The Pinnacle," and here's an AMAZING clip of Icarus (Borne on Wings of Steel). Love the 3-part counterpoint at 2:17.

AWESOME ! 1022.gif i love Kansas, seen them about a dozen times, always a memorable show ! they continue to tour the kind of state fair kind of shows but they are so much better then that. they are playing the free venue at mohegan sun soon, once again, they are much better then that. if you get to see kansas, do it !
