Check out the clip for "Child of Innocence"...that clip must be a from an extended intro or something, because that riff is not part of the original studio version. It sounds metal! That makes me want to buy it even more!

Eventually I grew out of all that silly bulls**t and decided to see what Black Sabbath really sounded like. So I borrowed a copy of "We Sold Our Souls for Rock'n'Roll" from a friend. I'll never forget the first time I listened to that album. It just so happened that it was raining outside at the time, and when I put on my headphones and heard the intro to "Black Sabbath" I honestly thought I was losing my mind for a minute. Scared the sh*t out of me, but I've loved the band ever since.

I went down to the local CD store after work today to buy this album.... and the store was closed! Must be something new -- I don't remember them closing on Tuesdays before. I'll get it tomorrow though!

Yep, I'm a fan of Sabbath. I have the "Black Box" and all the Dio-era albums. Great stuff! Can't wait to see Heaven and Hell! Woot!

I'm surprised Amazon still doesn't have any info for this album. I'm on the fence about this one, though. Pros: I usually really love concept albums, and the subject matter sounds like it could be good. Cons: I'm just not sure that Priest can pull this off lyrically. If it's going to be a whole double album that reads like "Lochness", it'll be interesting mainly because I'll be laughing my ass off at the crappy lyrics. If it rawks out like the last two albums have done, though, I might buy it for that factor alone.

Is it too late to put in a request? If not, could you play something from Genesis's Selling England by the Pound, please?

I'm hoping I'll be able to start listening to this show (live) on a regular basis- up to now my work schedule has prohibited it. In the meantime, I've just now downloaded the show tagged "1-24-08Neu" onto my Nano and I'm giving it a listen. I like what I hear so far.
