vital signz
No problem with posting your opinions here....its a free world, but if you were to take a lot of time to record something here that clearly you put alot of time in to Kazz and played your kit to share with others and someone got on here and made comments that are as follows: doin' that drum solo is a useless thing.... the double kick ending pattern is totally wrong and bad played... it is better that this guy do some personal things instead losin' time cloning neil peart... one(portnoy) is enough... Don't you think that if Neil were on here he would be proud that you tried to learn his songs and share you work with other visitors here many of whom are fellow musicians and fans rather that hack and slice apart your efforts as "useless' and "bad" played and "do some personal things instead of losing time" doing what you thought others might love seeing you do....I mean a lot of people here really like you Kazz and enjoy reading what you write and post and I would be rather hacked off if someone said anyone here who put forth such an effort was useless... Sure this is free speech territory but being hypercritical of fellow friends her just plainly ticks me off
dimensionidol
if saying an opinion on playing is HYPERCRITICAL...i think it is time to become all HYPERCRITICAL... criticizing each other is a way of improvement.... no one is perfect.... learning from errors is good...but sometimes you cannot recognize your errors..so someone else criticizing you make you noticing your own... if everyone always says:"good work...it is perfect"...."good job..carry on like this".... come on! it will be boring! dimensionidol
anyway...the ELVIS impersonation is a good point...valid one.... infact Elvis impersonation is one of the purposes of the decline of american culture...
My_Shrimp_Cot
That guy can drum in my band anytime. He just needs some real drums. (Not that I have a band)

drummer68
Thanks for posting those videos. That guy is REAL good!! I used to have a Yamaha electronic kit very similar to that one, and it's not easy to get around it when you're used to bashing an acoustic kit. R.G
that bloke can obviously play extremely well, and is just giving a tribute to other players, very comendable.

Time to eat your words. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2476923725284254926 and so...? this is a strong example that he have no personality.... i don't care if he can imitate the best drummer out there... i want to listen him paying his style....damn!!! otherwise his technique is useless.... "...but my far greater hope is to inspire others to build their own solos tell their own stories as an expression of thir tastes their characters and their lives"(neil peart-anatomy of a drum solo) i recognize nothing of that statement in that guy's playing...
