plodder
Liverpool - Chelsea 4. Very big result so early in the season already. Is this the end of Liverpools challenge already? Has anyone else any chance this season? 17 points clear of Liverpool already!!

I don't think they were serious contenders even before the season started.
Mandalorian Hunter
Fulham2-3Man. Utd That was a hard fought one. If utd can get the win in the game in hand, and beat Chelsea, it's game on. No other team will be in it in the long-run apart from Utd.
plodder
I agree. I think Man Utd are the only team able to give Chelsea a challenge.

plodder
Don't get me wrong here guys. I ain't no big Man Utd fan. I just don't see Arsenal putting up the challenge like they used to. I'd love to see Charlton last the season in the top 6 although I just can't really see it happening.
plodder
George Best in Hospital I hope he makes a full recovery. I know he was a bit of a piss head, but we can all be accused of that.
rickyrob
QUOTE (plodder @ Oct 3 2005, 06:48 PM) I know he was a bit of a piss head This is an understatement. I personally can't stand the guy. He treated his wife like sh*t. He was on the brink of death about 5 yrs ago with his stupid drink problem, she helped him through think and thin, and then he basically f*cked her off when he'd recovered. Sorry, I have absolutely NO sympathy for him! And on top of all that, he's a dirty RED!

At least our players don't stand on each others' balls And Richardson is a sorta striker. In all honesty, City SHOULD make it to Europe easily with a team and a manager like that! But still, you're not going to
rickyrob
^ ^ Obviously they are going to struggle with two 'awful' strikers. And if City are that bad, how come the dirty reds couldn't beat 'em? Blackburn Rovers Even Gary Neville said that if they don't beat Blackburn, they can kiss goody-bye to the Premiership Say "bye bye Premiership ...bye-bye" ....ho hum, again!
