  1. I'm not a collector of Rolling Stones albums...yet. I respect the band though and I do like a lot of their songs. So I'm interested in how Stones fans rank their albums. Let's see something here.
  2. Sorry for not including live albums or both versions of the early ones, but there are just so many, I think the 25 official studio albums will suffice. Which is your favorite? Mine is most likely Let It Bleed. That said, Exile, Sticky, and Some Girls would all be close behind, with Tattoo rounding out a nice top 5.
  3. Which of these "Shades" do you prefer? KISS - Hot in the Shade (1989) http://assets.rollingstone.com/assets/2014/list/kiss-top-10-albums-ranked-20140325/items/hot-in-the-shade-1989-19691231/140402/_original/1035x1035-20140320-kiss3-x1800-1395425333.jpg or The Rolling Stones - Made in the Shade (1975)
  4. I've been listening to a lot of them lately, and they explore guitar tones which, to this day, I don't hear any other bands make use of... And it's not like they're bad guitar tones either (well, okay, maybe they are, but they work very well for the groove the band is looking to accomplish)... Examples are found in the heavily distorted guitar during the choruses of "Satisfaction" and "Under my Thumb" It just amazes me... Are there any other bands that go to completely unique lengths with their guitar tones? And if so, just how long ago did they "trademark" this tone? It probably wasn't in '65/'66 ;)
  5. OK, I guess I'm just that stupid or naive ?? I was trying to find out parking information, etc. for Lincoln Field in Philadelphia for the summer 2019 Rolling Stones tour since the presale starts tomorrow. (Husband bucket list thing.) All these resale sites come up offering alleged tickets already, when they're not even on sale yet. Are scalpers just that confident that they can scoop up a bunch of tickets or are all these sites frauds? I know scalping is a huge thing; I guess I'm just used to Hersheypark Arena in a little town where even shows like Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, and Elton John take a day or two to sell out. I'm just curious.
