I think I tear up at every Rush show I go to. This tour it was a few songs, but 'the camera eye' intro really got me.

This is sold, dammit. If anyone bought and would like to sell, I'd be interested in buying.

I need a ticket too! It doesn't have to be really close to the stage, but at the same time I don't want to be in the nosebleed section! Any help is greatly appreciated.

For me, nothing beats an outdoor ampitheatre in the summertime It's the best wearing shorts, T-shirt, throwing around a frisbee, drinking beer BBQ'ing, then going to see Does it get any better? Even if it's pouring rain, it's fine with me!

Just be careful over there. When I was there (5 yrs ago?) they had the tightest security/ douchebag guards I have ever seen. Tailgating was scrutinized in the parking lot. Inside the venue, there was a huge waiting line for the men's room & there were a ton of people taking leaks in the bushes, one of them was my friend. All of a sudden, dozens of cops grab these people & arrest them. My friend was being hauled off, when he broke away from the cop (ballzy manuever) and ran into the crowd and took off his shirt & bought a different shirt. He succesfully got away from the cops. I got thrown out of the venue just for being out of my seat. I moved up a couple rows from where my seat was (there were plenty of empty seats rows up), then security started asking for tix & when I showed them mine, the pulled me out & tossed me out in the street on my ass. It was a Rush concert too. Those bastards!

I hit the Jones Beach show last night & it was fantastic! I bought a ticket from a fellow forum member. We got there about 3 hours early & BBQ'd in the parking lot- great to see Rush in the summer!! As far as the show went, honestly, the 1st set took a while to get rocking- I'd have to check the setlist again, but it was around Freewill I believe that I really started to enjoy the show. I like the other songs (every Rush song in fact), but again, for me, the show really picked up a little ways through the first set. Highlights for me- Caravan, Marathon, The Camera Eye (fantastic!) & La Villa. Great show overall! As to showing up without a ticket & trying to buy one at the window, I saw a lot of dissappointed people having no success landing a halfway decent seat.

I'm going tonight to Jones Beach. The excitement level is through the roof right now and I'm at work and it's only 10:30 am lol. I am very much looking forward to seeing 'caravan' one of my favourite songs they have released lately. I am in awe of how they bring their 'A' game every night- that's a lot of driving, setup, playing etc. It must be very tiring. These cats love to jam though.

After about 15 years of me telling them to see Rush, they finally decide to go & they are going to spac. I will not be able to go tonight, but will go tomorrow to Jones beach. Some of these cats are musicians, albeit nieve. One fellow who plays bass once said 'Geddy plays a 4 string, how good can he be?' Then the other day my friend who plays drums (again after me telling him about Rush for years) finally said 'wow I'm watching Rush on dvd- they are phenominal!' Really??? who would have thought? Hopefully they don't get too wasted & they can enjoy the show and finally realize that yes, Rush is a great band (the best imo).

Rush has got to smoke pot. That would explain why they have all those rotisserie chickens on stage- munchy time!

Hey guys! I am looking for a single tix as well. I have seen some nice orchestra tix on ebay for $150, but they only sell in pairs. If someone wants to go in with me, please let me know. Or if anyone has a single, please let me know. I'll buy you a beer at the show!
