But Wal bass does not = METAL!!! So no to that. yea, but what if they play chemistry or something that is not "metal"?

  7. i'm guessing al will use his new les pauls (from the snakes & >> tour) with a few others here and there, and that ged will use the jazz bass.. but i wanna hear the Rick!!!! and i like seeing/hearing al play his super-strats from the moving pictures- signals era... but those are probably in cases for good i do like the tone al gets from the new les pauls, more than the PRS tone he had since presto through R30...
  8. i'd rather hear them in my garage, with one white light. don't care about ANYTHING besides the sound quality of the mix and the house... but i dig your point...i guess.
  9. QUOTE (Hemispheres89 @ Jun 14 2010, 09:23 PM)QUOTE (the masked drummer @ Jun 14 2010, 09:12 PM) That's definitely annoying. Totally understandable. Kicking the back of your chair is ALWAYS a nerve-wracker. Not only is it distracting, but it also personally makes me feel nauseous when done in continuos succession. If you notice, most of the olde folks who go to concerts (especially Rush), the majority of them like sitting down and enjoying the show with a good food and drink in hand. This is actually the way concerts are supposed to be.. no standing up, no smoking pot, no disorderly conduct. But somewhere along the way, these rules were lost. rules?? how is 'standing up' in the same breath as disorderly conduct? no one under the age of 65 sits at rush show for more than on song here or there. drinking by the lighthouse, SMOKING on the peer..." those "rules" suck! what a killjoy!!!!!!!!!
  10. QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Jun 15 2010, 12:57 PM) btw after the '08 leg 2 girls were in the parking lot offering blow jobs for dope where was that exactly??
  11. it's really got nothing to do with "where" people are, it's the people. what the original post described happens at just about ANY event that sells alcohol. any sporting event or concert- there's always one (or 1,000). people think they are funny/cool...but they really are just annoying. i get drunk and yell and scream a bit, but never at anyone elses expense. just in the flow of the show.
  12. QUOTE (priest_of_syrinx @ Aug 1 2006, 02:47 PM) 7. If you know what Neil says at the beginning of Alien Shore isn't that Moe from the 3 stooges?? seriously.
  13. QUOTE (rushthroughtime @ Jun 14 2010, 08:31 PM) Hemispheres Anthem La Villa Straingato Jacobs Ladder Countdown anthem is well, BADASS!?!?!??!!!!!! and so are your other tunes...
  14. QUOTE (cygnus_thegodofbalance @ Jun 14 2010, 09:47 PM)QUOTE (Zanadoo @ Jun 14 2010, 09:24 PM) QUOTE (GrandDesigner @ Jun 14 2010, 09:07 PM) QUOTE (quickfree @ Jun 14 2010, 06:18 PM) Wonder if they'll actually play it. It is a very relevant song and ties in well with the overall theme. I highly doubt it... Geddy's thoughts... i lol'd Why? Because he's right? The first three albums are truly terrible. The only good thing to come out of them are: Working Man By-Tor Fly by Night (maybe) Bastille Day dude, go to the WHAM! or Lady GaGa forum. what kind of a fan of says something like that? you are such a D bag. some of the hungriest and smartest rock and roll ever written is on those firs 3 albums. seriously- go listen to your amy whinehouse CD... you call yourself a fan?? what a joke.
  15. QUOTE (cygnus_thegodofbalance @ Jun 14 2010, 08:36 PM)There's no way that can be the final product...the dialogue is PHUCKING HORRIBLE!! so certain are you?? always with you what can't be done.
  16. no i didn't "forget" it...just too many other songs i needs to hear
  17. sooo...the set is kick ass- you were saying?? ???? ????
  18. i'm a true fan of several bands. unlike a lot of fair weather fans around here, i like to hear what the bands do- consitently. i like certain band's musical personalities, that's what sounds good to my ears. rush's sound changed in the 80's, but i still bought and listened to all of them, BECAUSE I LOVE not all of their discs would be in my all time top 10, but i don't sit around here and complain about them. i really don't get people on this forum who bitch about signals or hold your fire or whatever other albums don't suit their taste..." too much keyboards ..." not every disc is 2112 or moving pictures. i'd much rather hear what the fair weather fans around hear call weak albums than 99% of the total shit that is around today. and as far as prime mover- great song from a great album. mission was a highlight of the last tour, IMO. haters???
  19. dreamline, force10, roll the bones most of test for echo, vapor trails and snakes... i don't want one freaking "take-a-piss song" more songs from the original moving pictures setlist . ala how KISS did it when they got back and toured the first time in 1996: they basically did the destroyer setlist, 20 years later and it KILLED!
  20. QUOTE (Zanadoo @ Jun 13 2010, 07:37 PM)man why does nobody want to hear bravado? that song is incredible
  21. probably will be tired/asleep before show is over, right? so you prob. won't enjoy the show nearly as much as you will without a toddler...the one positive is, if it is an outdoor place, you can get away from the sheer volume of it if needed. but with the proper ear protection, what can the little guy hear anyways? wait till the 40th anniversay tour, IMO show him R30 or rio DVD
  22. no we cannot. i didn't say it was my dream setlist. i don't flatout care that you don't like it anyways. clog this.
  23. "oh won't you please welcome home: " bastille day big money (f u haters, i dig this song!) anthem by-tor kid gloves leave that thing alone freewill moving pictures (Drum solo in YYZ; where it should always be) brain surgery break 2112- all of it. jacob's ladder armour and sword something for nothing caravan marathon countdown tai shan (suck it if you are a hater) lavilla in the mood encore: heispheres: prelude spirit of radio working man/finding my way
  24. QUOTE (GeddyLeeRoth @ Jun 12 2010, 05:05 AM) QUOTE (amish_ashaman @ Jun 12 2010, 03:47 AM) I had the displeasure of hearing it on the HYF tour. That had to be the worst tour they've ever done. That whole era needs to die and stay dead. Power Windows, Hold Your Fire and Presto are three really bad albums. WRONG! I'm not exactly in love with HYF or Presto (but both are cool), but PoW is a classic, IMO. yes, yes... i saw all 3 of those tours...not to mention countless others... why the hate??
