  1. It is supposed to rain 40-50 mm here in the next 24 hrs. Supposed to usually sounds optimistic on the Canuck prairie, but after 8 inches of rain in the last 6 weeks, it might be a good time to start building an ark. And ... I know this quantity means nothing to the rain other locations get.
  2. That album still gets regular air play on my database!
  3. QUOTE (Mara @ Apr 22 2010, 06:32 AM) I'm sure there will be photos galore and not a few YouTube vids. Can't make Seattle? Seattle is a possibility if I want to pay the whole shot. My daughter is moving to Burnaby BC this June and has friends in Seattle. I would also need plane tickets, so I might be better off to wait and see if they come to Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg next year, and just drive there.
  4. I really hope they come to Western Canada and 60+ other places across the world in 2011! Take lots of photos, if you can ... ... and share please Enjoy!
  5. 1. 2112 2. Xanadu 3. TFoL 4. Cygnus X-1 5. LVS 6. Book II Hemi 7. Natural Science 8. By-Tor and the Snow Dog 9. The Necromancer 10. The Camera Eye I like all of the songs, but had a diffucult time choosing 2 thru 6.
  6. Well, fine then ... here in the city that rhymes with fun, located in the easiest province to draw, we are experiencing a thunderstorm. It is 5 C.
  7. Why does why end with a y?
  8. QUOTE (Show Don't Tell @ Mar 22 2010, 09:26 PM) Hey, Gary! Along with those MP3 links to your archived shows, could we also get a setlist for each show? If not here then maybe your FaceBook page? Thanks! The setlists are on his Facebook page (The Interdimensional Vortex) look for (archived shows)
  9. I caught the first show last night ... it is an interesting series for someone like myself who doesn't watch much television drama. I find some of the subject matter slightly disturbing, but realize there will be no fairytale ending in this one. FWIW ... I also enjoy Dexter after a crash course with last seasons episodes.
  10. You absolutely hit the nail on the head!, some may not understand ... yet, it's noones fault that some do not understand. Thanks for sharing! Nice Write!
  11. I work as an HVAC Tech most of the time (Heating - Ventilation - Air Conditioning) I am a Journeyman Interprovincial Sheet Metal Worker by trade and received my ticket in June 1982. For sh!ts and giggles, I also do home renovations and am currently helping transform a 1926 heritage property into an urban castle ... see my avatar, that is me at the castle. My duties there, as well as the Mechanical/HVAC duties are to frame walls, sheathing, insulating, installing vapour barriers and metal lath on the walls so the stone masons can do their thing.
  12. Back in the day, I used to hang with 20 or so friends who ranged in age from 16 to 25. A couple of the guys parents had lived over the pond and had relocated to Canada. Ian and Rick introduced us to some of the bands they liked, including The Moody Blues, The Bee Gees, Golden Earring, King Crimson, Supertramp, and many more. "Crime of the Century" received particularely heavy play and was always well recieved. It remains on my database playlist to this day... along with the followup album "Even In The Quietest Moments" They are my favorite Supertramp albums. I think I'll go Hide In My Shell and give the file a spin!
