Hopefully we'll be around in another ten years to revisit these polls all over again! Haha The remastered and expanded Hendrix box sets are extremely excellent! The Beatles ones aren't too bad either ... so much goodness to digest and no wrong option!

In a clash of flamboyant pretentiousness and better living through chemistry, the Liverpool lads are in the early lead. The real question is ... which band had the better drugs?

It was quite a lean music year for me, the only album on the list that I bought was Brothers In Arms.
