  1. QUOTE (paganoman @ Jun 9 2005, 11:29 PM) QUOTE (launchpad67a @ Jun 9 2005, 10:44 PM) Heard a Kansas tune on the radio today and thought this would make a good topic for Rush fans. I have always considered them one of my favorite bands. I have seen them in concert about 10 times, always an amazing musical show! Anyone (young fans especially) who have never heard this group, please check them out. Great, great vocals, musicianship and song writting. Forgot how much this band influenced my music career. A true inspiration! I think the band is awesome. Their CD box set is something worth owning. When my wife and I were first dating we went to go see them at some Sun Tan Jam thing. I was so blown away by their performance. These guys kicked ass. Their lead singer was astounding. He had so much energy, and never stopped moving for a moment. They played so tight, and like Launch said, their musicianship was out of control. I kept saying that these guys belonged in an arena. A great show. Great posting. Kansas have always been an incredible bunch of musicians. I've seen them 3 times. They are as good live as the are ....no..strike that. They are better live. Phenomenal. (thanks for starting this thread)
  2. Tonight's show rebuilt my faith in LOST. Friggin' amazing.
  3. Appetite for Descrution although good was a flash in the pan GnR Proved that they suck. They can't reproduce live They can't even keep members. Soundgarden, Queenryche, even LA Guns made more of an impact. GnR sucks. Axl Rose ruined that band.
  4. **se is an exteemly scary thing to have a pain in. Family Guy and Kim Possible have Patrick Warburton It's hard to solder microphone cables

  7. I've tried and tried. It is impossible to make a complete sentence out of RUSH album titles.
  8. Rush was in a bathtub with Dream Theater and Mike Portnoy farted. Geddy loudly exclaimed, "Wheres My Thing!?!". "It is in Alex's double neck Gibson, which is not the greatest place to find a gigantic wildebeast. Neil said fear the snow dogs or they will kill your family, then outa nowhere came Kurt Cobain shooting heroin in the face. "Ow!" Neil ran screaming, grabbed his drumsticks and his helmet, whipped out his giant spaghetti noodle, and sped out of the studio to go find Terry Brown's apartment. "Oh my gosh! I forgot my...motorcycle keys and my newest lyrics.
  9. An interesting twist on an old favorite.
  10. Turn the Page It jumped out and grabbed me first time I heard it.
  11. Marathon. From first to last. The peak is never passed.
