I'm five-nine, and when I met him I'd say he was an inch or two taller than me: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v508/leighellwood/meetandgreet.jpg

Henson Company planning 'Dark Crystal' sequel
Sodoff Baldrick replied to Jack Aubrey's topic in Video Vertigo
Is the original on DVD? For some reason I can never find it. -
How is Thelma and Louise inspiring? Unless it made people want to drive off a cliff.

If we could get a creative writing forum in here, I'd make Oracle easy.

QUOTE (Der Trommler @ Jun 11 2006, 10:23 PM) QUOTE (MrMiltonBanana @ Jun 11 2006, 11:21 PM) I saw it. The one where there were witch burnings and stuff was good. There's 3.....that one...the WWII one & one other in France, I think. Still trying to get Sodoff in here to Spam it with tons of Adder quotes! There are actually four series. The Black Adder - post-Richard III era, working on the assumption that Richard's nephews were never killed and one of them became King (Brian Blessed). Edmund is the Prince, second to his brother. Blackadder II - Elizabethan times. Edmund serves the Queen Blackadder the Third - Edmund serves the Prince Regent, George, in the time of George III (for an interesting contrast, go rent The Madness of King George) Blackadder Goes Forth - WWI, Edmund is serving in the British Army, evading all orders to storm the front until the last episode There was also a Christmas special, Blackadder's Christmas Carol, set in the time of Queen Victoria, and a special called Blackadder Back and Forth, done for a charity program. There was also a Blackadder skit with Wm. Shakespeare, forget the name of it (I've not seen of it). There had been rumors of a fifth series for years, presumably to be set in either contemporary time or during the Falkland War. Everything I've read determines that there are no plans for new Blackadders. As much as I'd love to see it, you can't do it without George and Melchett, and I don't think you're getting Hugh Laurie off House anytime soon. Stephen Fry is somewhat of a recluse, I understand.

I know Wonder Woman is DC Comics, but wasn't there supposed to be a movie in the works since, forever?
-
Meryl? I read the book, that wasn't who I pictured in the lead. Funny book at points, but the ending was a let down.

No, we have to start bitching about Season 6 and how nobody auditions with The Camera Eye.

QUOTE (rushgoober @ May 24 2006, 08:18 AM) in the fast paced world of crappy pop music, america's got a pretty short memory. True, but I don't see Taylor going on to a pop career. If he's smart, he'll stick with a genre that best suits him, like R&B, and make a good career at blues festivals and such.
-
At this point, it's just bragging rights. Taylor and Katherine will likely both get contracts regardless of who wins.

QUOTE (bordercollie @ May 20 2006, 08:33 PM) hola GO KATHARINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Taylor would be the worst Idol EVER! 100 times worse than Fantasia. Has Fantasia done anything since winning? Have any of them? I only Kelly Clarkson on the radio when I choose to listen to such stations.

QUOTE (feelingwithyourskin @ May 17 2006, 02:34 PM) yeah, still waiting for an answer. i don't forget things. ever. She's right, you know. I still get needled over a derogatory TMBG remark I made two years ago in the Bored Thread.

Don't know why, but Taylor was the whole reason I started watching this damn show. I saw the audition episode and how Simon nagged that the other judges would never let him into the top 24 (ha!) I just wanted to see how far a guy like that could get before everybody got tired of him. Who knew?
