  1. I agree it's a terrible cover. I guess it's part of the band's overall attempt to get back to basics (remember the hand drawn cover for the original High Voltage and Dirty Deeds?). The only difference is that the original Dirty Deeds cover is awesome! Much better than the dumb motel with blacked out eyes and pink logo!
  2. If I had to pick a bad one - March or Die. It was rushed and even Lemmy isn't a huge fan. How 'bout Overnight Sensation? I think it's an underrated later day masterpiece.
  3. Never undrstood the hate for that album. I think it's great.
  4. Agree with everything you said! I always said Flick is Brian's Powerage. You two inspired me to listen to Powerage on my run tonite. "What's Next to the Moon" is such a great track! I didn't mean to hurt that woman of mine, it was a heart attack! Great tune indeed!
  5. Fly is good, it's just the horrible production ruins it.

  7. :o Compared to FTATR? You've got to be kidding. You need to give it another listen Stevie! :hail: I agree!! Comparable to FTATR for sure. I love everything after BIB as well. even Ballbreaker and Stiff Upper Lip! again, that is just me- I love every AC/DC album. No duds, IMO. I admit it took a while to grow on me, but now I am absolutely hooked lol. Tenacious D, I like ya, buddy!! hahaha FOTS!!!!!! :dweez: :sundog: :syrinx: :haz: and a cheeseburger for good luck! :burger: Yup, love it! My favorite Johnson era album. Oh, and hobo73, I LOVE Ballbreaker and SUL! Still don't understand the hate those albums get from AC/DC fans. yeah I know- it's like you either love those albums or hate them. There are definitely cheesy tongue in cheek songs (Cover You In Oil, anyone?) but they are awesome! My favorite Johnson era album....hmm. I have to say Razors Edge. Not just because Thunderstruck is on it, but I love every song. I find it interesting my fave Johnson album is one with Chris Slade and not my beloved Phil lol Another under rated album? Blow Up Your Video. Cover You In Oil is miles better than The Honey Roll(one of their worst). Hail Caesar and Burnin' Alive are awesome though. The Razor's Edge is ok, but I can go the rest of my life without ever hearing Thunderstruck again. Slade is a great drummer, just not for AC/DC- he sounds like a damn drum machine and they need the groove that only Phil can lay down. BUYV is a good album that's ruined by typical shitty 80's production- same thing for Fly On The Wall.

  9. It's got a few good songs, but that's about it. Other than Tom's return, it's a little mediocre.
  10. One of their best! Sadly, you never hear anything about it.
  11. He shouldn't be included. We all know they didn't become Rush until Neil. He wasn't even that great of a drummer. Now, Mark Evans from AC/DC not being included is a whole other story. Just for the reason that he played on Let There Be Rock is enough for me.
  12. The Budokan version of ELO Kiddies- AAGHHH. And Southern Girls!
  13. Their last album is just as good as their old stuff. 30+ years and they're still releasing quality material- kinda like another band I like ;)
  14. Love that some here are liking Killing Joke. Steevo and bathory- figured you guys would dig it.
  15. That's their loss. yep, not many bands can compete with dokken, quiet riot, and the other 80s darlings here Don't forget about Dream Theater and Van Halen!
  16. Maybe it's an obvious one, but Talking Heads "Once In a Lifetime." Impossible for me to hear it without thinking of David Byrne in his suit and glasses doing that thing with his hand and arm(you know what I'm talking about).
  17. Would love to catch another show from this tour again. Saw them last summer and it was incredible!
  18. One of their more commercial songs and a hit at the time, still a good song though. That was a great remix of it. Nice find!
