  1. Three that come to mind right away are: Steel Magnolias, the scene in the cemetery has me balling my eyes out to laughing in a split second every time I see it. Terms of Endearment, when she's saying good bye to her children in the hospital, just heart wrenching. And Bridges of Madison County, the scene where Merrill Streep is in her car with her husband and they are behind Clint Eastwood's car and in that moment she has to decide if she should stay in the boring, safe, secure life with her husband or choose to run away with the love of her life to an exciting life she's only dreamed of. With her hand on the car door handle, her lover waiting in his car patiently, she chooses security and he drives away forever. I cry my eyes out every time. I feel her pain.
  2. QUOTE (The Owl @ Jul 21 2011, 08:37 PM) you know, I feel guilty watching any Vampire or Werewolf movie anymore.. Dracula (both classic and the 90s Gary Oldman version are great) and films like An American were wolf in London are great.. Unfortunately one particular franchise currently running has ruined both generas of Monster movie. I agree with your Dracula and Werewolf choices. Bram Stoker's Dracula and American Werewolf in London are among the best, imo. Although, I would say that as far as fear goes, American Werewolf in London is far more scarier than the Dracula movie. But the Dracula movie looks and is acted beautifully.
  3. QUOTE (HowItIs @ Mar 5 2011, 08:22 PM) Or this one? http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd103/laserspray/Rush/2010-oct-main-1.jpg Also looks to be from the same session. Behold the hawtness!!! Ooooooo, I've never seen this one!!!! I love it!!! Thank you. While both of those pics are great, that's still not the one. I'll have to look through my stuff and see if I can find it. Thanks, girls. Keep 'em coming!!
  4. QUOTE (evilsugar25 @ Mar 4 2011, 08:39 PM) this is quite possibly my favorite non-longhaired pic of luscious lerxstness http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d65/evilsugar25/lerxst_headphones_smile.jpg I agree! There's another one with him resting his head on his guitar that I just love as well. He looks so dreamy!
  5. There was a made-for-TV movie about The Three Stooges done a few years back. I remember thinking then how stupid and pointless it was. And, quite frankly, embarrassing. I wouldn't mind seeing an official well-done documentary about them though. That would be pretty interesting.
  6. I've never seen this movie in the theater, and I've never watched the entire thing on TV. Just not my thing. Although I've heard it's quite an experience seeing it in the theater. That may have made it more interesting for me. I agree about leaving classic things alone, including cult classics. There is a reason why people love them for what they are so why try to re-do it?
  7. This movie has been in my list for a long time but I just don't have as much interest watching movies during the summer months. Too much outdoor stuff to do. But after reading this thread, I may have to stay in to watch it!
