  1. I sent in this picture to the Bristow VA venue. Very cool they take the time to sign items. http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a113/photostart/Rush.jpg
  2. QUOTE (micgtr71 @ Sep 15 2010, 06:58 PM) QUOTE (daveyt @ Sep 15 2010, 06:20 PM) i didn't see any so i got the socks and the backstage pass. my brother got the bumper stickers and the pin set. sweet Socks? Really? They sell Rush socks? I'm gonna have to check those out. This is a new one for me. Maybe I can wear them with my custom Manowar jockstrap. And you can add the pink thong. That would be quite the ensemble.
  3. QUOTE (Janie @ Sep 13 2010, 12:26 PM) Here are the remaining shows: Boston (TD Garden) Pittsburgh (Consol Energy Center) Tulsa (BOK Center) San Antonio (AT&T Center) Houston (Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion) Dallas (Superpages.com Center) Atlanta (Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre) Tampa (Ford Amphitheatre) W. Palm Beach (Cruzan Amphitheatre) If anyone knows which venues are better to send items to, please speak up! The Boston show is tomorrow night so that venue is pretty much out of the question. You can still overnight or send something two-day priority to Pittsburgh though and the rest should get our packages in time. There are only a few shows left though! You forgot the DC/VA show at the Jiffy Lube complex this Sat., 9/18. I am sending something there. The Pitt show is on the 16th, so I am hoping the day in between will allow them time to do some signing.
  4. QUOTE (FoG @ Sep 8 2010, 07:41 AM) Incase anyone missed it, they're selling the shirts on Rush Backstage Club for $40, but only in a medium. I'm hoping this will change soon, but I'm planning to recreate the logo myself for personal use on a t-shirt. I've seen the other stuff on sites like Zazzle but they don't do it justice... EDIT: At least they were a few days ago. It's mysteriously disappeared from the site. I was lucky to get one soon after they started selling them. Mine is like the black one but has white trim on the neckline and at the end of the sleeves. I think these sold out pretty fast, as I saw only the black version soon after I bought mine. And I'm glad I decided to buy from their website as I didn't see any for sale at the Vegas show.
  5. I'm meeting a friend there, but will also be taking the wife. She didn't seem so interested after seeing I Love You Man. But I told her we won't be like those guys . . . well, maybe not. She's not a Rush fan, but I think she'll be won over after the show.
  6. QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ Aug 10 2010, 02:41 PM) [/quote] the one thing I LOVE about my G9 is it shoots Manual and RAW so I can do some minor exposure tweaks in post-production I'm going to bring in a Sony Cybershot. My Nikon SLR is too big - don't think they would allow one of those in anyway. What's a G9? Is that a big camera?
  7. QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ Aug 10 2010, 02:01 PM) QUOTE (kbomb106 @ Aug 10 2010, 12:49 PM) QUOTE (LeaveMyThingAlone @ Aug 10 2010, 11:25 AM)Fireworks? Really? Has Rush ever done fireworks at their shows? Fireworks like this: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk96/kbomb106/Rush%207%2011%2008/Picture180.jpg and this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v407/lakesidemaiden/Rush%20at%20Mohegan%20Sun%207-19-2010/IMG_6617.jpg COOL.
  8. Thanks all. That should be enough for me to anticipate when to take the pics. Hopefully I'll have good timing.
  9. For those that have been to a show already, can you let me know after which song(s) any pyrotechnic special effects take place? I would like to time one of my pics so I can get a shot of whatever pops up in the background, e.g. the fire flames on the S&A tour. It's usually after the first song of the second set, but just want to check. Thanks for any info you can provide.
  10. QUOTE (woodring2112 @ Jul 5 2010, 09:34 AM) QUOTE (rusher @ Jul 4 2010, 09:55 PM) Just in case you didn't know - Porcupine Tree is playing the night before Rush and Primus is having a midnight show the same night as Rush, both at the Joint (Hard Rock Cafe). Primus is calling theirs "An Evening with Primus - Special Midnight performance after the Rush show". Doesn't get much better than that for a weekend of shows. And in Vegas no less. I believe the Porcupine Tree show is with Coheed & Cambria, as well. That's a lot of music for 36 hours... , but in a good way. I won't be able to see PT, but am hoping to see the Primus gig.

  12. QUOTE (Merely Space @ Jul 2 2010, 08:48 AM) I'm pretty sure Vegas is indoors. I was really hoping they'd play the Toyota Center in Houston for the same reasons you list. But, alas, it's an outdoor show. Yes, Vegas is indoors. And to make it better, Porcupine Tree is in Vegas the night before and Primus has a midnight concert right after Rush!!
  13. I received an email today giving me notice of shipment and tracking information for my tix. I'm going to the Vegas show. I'll post again when I receive them.
  14. Except for Faithless, I don't mind this setlist. That song makes me sleepy - seriously. One song from GUP and Vapor Trails would be nice too.
