Besides those first two tracks, Heavy Weather is probably the dullest fusion record I have heard and it really put me off from the genre. I really expected better from dudes like Zawinul and Shorter.

There's six of the many wonderful hard bop jazz albums out there. You might consider them more "straight-ahead" jazz than Cobham (whom plays fusion from what I've heard), but they are still very easy to absorb.
