  1. I'd suggest Prelude as an instrumental, if Ged is reluctant to sing it.... there's only a very short lyric in it anyway. The R30 medley had no vocals but they weren't necessary.... there's still enough power in those old songs for some of the instrumental bits to give one chills.
  2. If I got that setlist with the permutation that included Subdivisions and The Enemy Within, I think I'd just about wet myself. Cold Fire and Marathon would be really nice to hear as well. Since Jacob's Ladder isn't there, I doubt this is authentic. It'd be a pretty good one, though. I actually like the idea of splitting MP up between Limelight and Camera Eye, since that's the way they broke it up on vinyl and cassette.
  3. A little bit dark, maybe a little discordant. Second half of Caravan is especially phenomenal. Do I detect a hint or two of La Villa in there? How heavy is the main riff of BU2B? Almost Rage Against the Machine-y. Overall, a nice kind of natural evolvement from the Snakes and Arrows sound. If anything, these songs appear to be trending a little more progressive, which I'm absolutely all for. I love that they're taking so many risks at this point in their career. Production is great too.... I like the reverb on Ged's voice. The drums are punchier and a little fuller sounding than they were on VT and Snakes... the bass is smoother and sits in the mix really well. Alex always has the perfect tone for everything. Some keyboard textures in there?
  4. QUOTE THE ANALOG KID?! Are you kidding me? I'd kill to see The Analog Kid. *if they play it instead of Subdivisions. If they play both of them, I'm quite happy to hear it! Hopefully they don't pick one or the other, because Signals should really be represented as much as possible, if you ask me.
  5. Closer to the Heart Freewill The Analog Kid (if played as a replacement for Subdivisions) Mystic Rhythms Roll the Bones Animate Nobody's Hero Driven Resist One Little Victory Vapor Trail Secret Touch The Larger Bowl Spindrift Summertime Blues The Seeker and.... wait for it... 2112 (Not a fan of the key change)
  6. I flew from Australia as well. Probably cost me about $3,000 of my own money to do it, but it was so worth it. At that point I hadn't seen the band in 15 years and wasn't sure how many more chances I'd get. Money comes and goes.... your favorite band won't be around forever.
  7. Gotta go with TSS. Big Aimee Mann/Til Tuesday fan
  8. Since it's my wife's first Rush concert this year, I vote for "The Pass" as it is her favorite Rush song. Although I'd probably vote for that anyway.
  9. Enemy Within. As part of the whole Fear trilogy would be extra nice
