It's not melodic. The melody is the weakest part of the song. The playing and the energy is what I initially liked about it. exactly. thank you.

Anybody else have that sinking feeling that all the hype, and then the delay before the release, is going to backfire? I feel like the tweets got everyone pumped/excited...and now the delay has everyone really itching to hear this new awesome tune (supposedly)...but I am now fearing that it won't nearly live up to the hype... This isn't to say that I think HF won't be a good tune, just that expectations are high on all levels and now the song has a lot more to live up to it might not have had otherwise.

I do really hope this record is a combination of all Rush eras and I think maybe that is what they were going for on this record. We'll soon see. Good news nonetheless i think the single has been described as 70s rush, and the comment about 80s rush was in relation to the album as a whole, no?
