  1. Great song in its own right. Great to play on the guitar too : ).
  2. Think Cozy had something for this presenter. Who could blame him?
  3. I instantly thought of Bozzio's kit before clicking on the link. COZY RULES!!! RIP!!!! Indeed. Great drummer great guy, died in valour. RIP. Even took a Pie from Plant - 5:20
  4. Van Halen Loads of bands after or equal to VH really. Depends how it is.
  5. Most of Midsommar. That this film does not have to rely on 'dark' scenes, yet still scares the crap, is testament to how powerful this film truly is. The cliff scene bear scene, most of the film.
  6. Put in Maiden and Rush kept moving for 40 seconds after everyone else had stopped.
  7. The Open All Hours Maiden, got me thinking. How many 'metal' t shirts did Vivian wear? I recall Whitesnake, Rush! Saxon and Motorhead, Kiss. Were there more? Must have been. Exploited featured maybe.
  8. I never really got into that one, I preferred Richard Briers' other one, The Good Life.
  9. I thought that was a bit weak. After Dad's Army those writers got progressively weaker, starting with Are you Being Served, then It Ain't Half Hot Mum, and Hi Di Hi, Allo Allo, You Rang M'Lord, each one worse than the last. The writing for those show was a bit weak. Peaked with Dad's made a sort of return with Hi De Hi}Allo , then fizzled out.
  10. Ever Decreasing Circles could possibly make my top 10. Though it was more a play type study than guffaw, all out comedy.
  11. I`ll go as far as to say I strongly dislike children featuring on any kind of show (or anywhere in my world, come to think of it). Hence my love for Python, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, and with US shows, the mighty Sunny in Philadelphia, 30 Rock, Curb, Frasier. Kids are only in them to get hit :smash: But the best thing of all is when there is no laughter track. I don`t need to be told when I should laugh :tsk: One thing that aids a comedy is a live audience. It supports the timing and makes for a natural feel, in performance. Reminded of Fools and Horses where the characters often wait for the laughing to stop, it's quite dramatic at times. Its nemesis is the canned laughter track. I'd rather have nothing than canned laughter. Canned laughter ruins comedic effect and enjoyment IMO.

Spot on! I have a sentimental spot for AYBS because it was one of the early ones I watched. It wasnt tremendous, but like a comfortable old pair of shoes it was fun to watch. Anyone else like Yes, Minister? Hooorah! It is the the best comedy series ever created.
  13. Yea exactly. Fletcher lost the metal. :) I mean he lost the edge, the danger, the unknown! Duality. They did it through the various means you mention.Bit of an anti climax to be honest after the 1st series. I feel the let down. There's always Scum!
  14. Yep exactly. The 1st episode offered so much hope, and failed thereafter. IMO it should have followed a life of crime. The situation it DID provide was dull and safe. No conflict. The initial series had an aura of unknown morality. The later series fulfilled the doubt.

Anyone else like Yes, Minister? I wasn't a massive fan of Yes Minister, but it was obviously a clever piece of work with top notch acting. You Bohemian! It's the thin edge of the wedge I tell ye!
  16. I understand. There are some classic clips. But generally Frank used to bother me. Honestly. British comedy is so much better than this. I mean it didn't make my top choices. :D
