  1. It reversed a long trend of declining sales and interest in the band. And then CP happened, shitting the advances away. At the time CP was their highest charting record though. What were final sales figures? It was the highest charting because everyone went out and bought it after RTB, and it only went gold because after people heard it and the singles, they didn't buy the album. Your disdain for CP is well documented just as my criticism of SnA is:) S&A is my second least favorite album. But it is usually just boring, not openly offensively bad as CP is. Different strokes. I was let down initially by T4E after really liking CP. T4E did end up growing on me, but not what I was wanting or expecting at the time. I bought it at Best Buy at midnight. A guitar player friend(virtuoso) was with me and we were both looking at each other like "what is this". I'll never forget him saying it sounded like they recorded Alex's guitar in a french fryer. LMAO!

I do think the the decision to make Nobody's Hero a single was probably not a good one. Wasn't that the second single?

  6. If they replaced RTB with Dreamline, then did BTW, and followed with Chemistry or Analog it would be close to the perfect set for me.
  7. You're a sick person It's way down on my favs list, but at the time I loved it. Dreamline is still one of my favs to this day.
  8. When RTB first came out I was in heaven. I was wanting them to go radio friendly at that point and boy did they. ha
  9. That's why I watch on my iPad and participate in the forums on my laptop. You can turn it however you need. Ctrl/Alt plus arrow will turn the video any way you want on laptop.
  10. Because Neil likes to ride in Texas and everything is BIGGER in Texas :D yeah even the assholes. Cops perform body cavity searchs on the side of the roads there Hell no....lol....Neil will tell you Florida has the worst cops by far(not just because of Lifeson incident)
  11. Just FYI, as a player, that song is a DRONING song to play live. It is just boring as hell to play and one must know where they are at all times. Musically not their most complex work, but the sheer boredom of playing a song where everybody veg's out is tough to do. Notice the crowd is very tame during the song. Nothing is being given back. One of the most appreciated songs of the tour according to all the internet/youtube comments I've read. I'm a 31 year drummer and I love to play it as much as any other Rush song.
  12. Not to bitch, but really not fair that Texas gets so many shows and Indy(a midwest staple) none.
  13. Jacobs was a no brainer live at least 20 years ago. I'm guessing Neil has vetoed it at least a couple times. haha
  14. Since I now got the Tulsa show on data stick(48" HDTV) , I find me need to watch every periscope show diminishing. The youtube Tulsa show was recorded from right up front. Not gonna get a better view.
  15. Been watching on my HDTV. My only beef is that one point during Neil's solo, the camera pans and watches the stagehands. WTF! This is Neil's solo we're talking about. Love the closeups throughout the show though.
  16. If they are done Recording it would be a bigger blow to me.

  18. Thanks so much! All three possibly being on board for another record excites me.
  19. I don't know....I think this songs works well slow.
