QUOTE (war2112 @ Nov 11 2004, 12:25 PM) Sorry to repeat some but mine are: Bladerunner Alien Aliens Taxi Driver - oh, no, the feds will be watching me now The African Queen American Beauty Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory I just watched the first Alien the other night. I think it was on Encore or something. I came in just at the beginning - which was lucky. I usually stumble upon a great flick about 30 seconds before the ending credits. Still just as good as it ever was. I remember as a kid when my sister came home from that movie - I'm cracking up right now remembering how freaked out she was. She won't touch any of the Alien movies to this day.

  7. QUOTE (launchpad67a @ Nov 9 2004, 10:07 AM) QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Nov 9 2004, 09:51 AM) Neil with the braided rat-tail! The ONLY person in the world who could carry THAT off. I could make you some 'high-res' scans of the Neil pics...if you'd like. The ones you see were scanned at a lower resolution. They can look much better I think. Oh I think you just made her morning.
  8. 2nd guess would be Jesse with Christina Applegate.
  9. Hmmm. I have two crazy guesses. First is Suddenly Susan???
  10. QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Nov 8 2004, 10:43 PM) QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Nov 8 2004, 10:51 AM) "Oh yeah? Well I can't take ANYTHING you say seriously with that stupid accent. You sound like you should be 'plottink beeg trabble for moose and skvirrel'!" Paganoman...it's not "Rocky and Bullwinkle." It's a R & B reference, for sure...but that's not where the whole quote came from... I took the bait..... and crashed!!!!
  11. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Nov 8 2004, 10:36 PM) Different Strings. Didn't have to think twice. Dude, DS is such a great song. It's so hard to pick one above another with these guys.
  12. I was hovered over Different Strings... but then changed it to Tears.
  13. GG - It's Rocky and Bullwinkle. Has to be. Boris and "Doris".

  20. QUOTE (pixey @ Nov 7 2004, 03:40 PM) All 4 of my kids are into Rush, 2 more than the other 2. My 9yr.old is a big fan. He puts Rush on all the time, it is so cool to be sitting in the living room and hear Rush blasting on the computer when hes on. I mean he blasts it! My 14yr.old went to this years tour, he proudly wears his Rush shirt to school. We have been lucky enough to get alot of the teens around here into Rush too. They are all fans now. Casey ( the 9yr.old) wants to come onto the board so watch out, you never know when the lil Ghost Rider will show up! How awesome!!
  21. 3rd clue: This classic sitcom's production company is credited with a revolutionary live filming practice that continues to be the standard today.
  22. QUOTE (lil_rush_dude @ Nov 6 2004, 01:22 PM) Hey all! I'm a 14 year old who loves Rush! I was introduced to their music by a 16 year old who had a minidisc with '2112' on. I immediatly went out to buy the album and it is still one of the greatest CD's in my collection. Also, 'Temples Of Syrinx' remains my favourite song by Rush. But back on the main subject.... Rush really are the best band ever. My reason, Rush still live on today. Not just with those first fans who turned up at the old 70's and 80's concerts, but modern day teenagers! I was so inspired by all the phenominally fast drumming of Alex Peart that I am now play drums and he is my ultimate drumming idol! Rush's music is the kind of music that doesn't die after an era (*COUGH* Status Quo *COUGH*). It still inspires many to this day, of all ages as well! Tell me if you are also a young teenager who has been inspired by Rush at all, or if you just agree with any of the above comments! MATT Hey Matt - Excellent post, and welcome bro. It's so cool to know how Rush inspires so many walks of life and generations. One suggestion... Edit your post to say Neil Peart. I look forward to other posts from you, buddy!
  23. 2nd clue: A classic line, from a classic episode, of a ground breaking classic sitcom.
