  1. Lady of Rage-Necessary Roughness 50 Cent-Get Rich or Die Tryin' Metallica-Death Magnetic all vinyl I really like the Rage record, it's too bad her career never took off.
  2. Recently got Panopticon by Isis on clear vinyl, limited to 73 copies. Great stuff.
  3. Pink Floyd, no contest. Why include ABWH? IMO it's just a shitty version of classic-era Yes, they never did anything worthwhile.
  4. Metallica-Master of Puppets My Bloody Valentine-Loveless Rolling Stones-Let it Bleed all vinyl
  5. QUOTE (PuppetKing2112 @ Jul 23 2008, 09:31 PM) Yeah, their new album is really, really good. Everything else...not so much. I didn't think much of the new one. Parachutes is pretty good though.
  6. Aphex Twin-Xylem Tube EP (Second press, made in Austria) The Mars Volta-Tremuland EP (First press, limited to 2,000 copies) I've also been boring myself with Coldplay's discography recently. I don't get what people see in this band.
  7. QUOTE (launchpad67a @ Jun 17 2008, 11:41 AM) He's just an idiot and a Terrible artist. I've seen him (unfortunately) perform on numerous tv talk shows and it's always just horrid! How does anyone like this guy? I thought the first two albums were great. I didn't like the new one though.
  8. Just bought myself The Best of 4xLP set for $60...It's pretty expensive but I knew I'd be kicking myself if it doubled/tripled in price after it came out, like the NIN box set.
  9. Eminem-The Marshall Mathers LP Marvin Gaye-What's Going On Pink Floyd-Atom Heart Mother Jay-Z-The Blueprint (promo) DJ Shadow-Entroducing.. Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band-13 Blues for 13 Moons all vinyl
  10. QUOTE (mazyyz @ Jun 5 2008, 06:30 PM)Serious question: I stopped smoking a little over three months ago. I have a drug screening next week. Should I be worried?? If it's a urine test, you should be fine. Just in case you could drink lots of water and go to the bathroom more often to cleanse your system, but three months seems like long enough for any trace to have passed. This link has some good information.
  11. I got the original pressings of the first two Aphex Twin albums today, on vinyl.
  12. I had to go with Dogs, excellent album.
  13. Nine Inch Nails-The Downward Spiral Promo Bob Marley and the Wailers-Live! Pink Floyd-A Saucerful of Secrets (Mono, Sealed) Velvet Underground-Another View All vinyl

  16. QUOTE (Rush! @ Apr 11 2008, 09:01 AM) QUOTE (The Rocinante @ Apr 8 2008, 09:15 PM) Aphex Twin-Drukqs Amazing stuff You seem to really be enjoying AT. I'd check out Autechre if you haven't already. That duo plays a style of music that's very similar to AT. I must have missed this. I have a few Autechre albums, all great. Anyway: Stone Temple Pilots-Purple Outkast-Idlewild Iron Butterfly-Ball Snoop Dogg-The Blue Carpet Treatment (Yeah, I know. It was cheap ) all vinyl Plus an extra record, three sampler CD's, a T-shirt, stickers, posters, etc. because it's 'record store day' and they were giving away crap.
  17. QUOTE (Ancient Ways @ Apr 6 2008, 05:52 PM) QUOTE (TheRocinanteKid @ Apr 5 2008, 08:41 AM) Not coming on here to cause trouble, I just wanna state my opinion. Until I started coming here I always considered Radiohead to be pretty much exactly the same as Coldplay, depressing and uninteresting guitar based Pop. I was quite surprised when everyone here was talking about them so I gave them a proper listen and it was my own believes that was confirmed, I was bored almost to tears by them and thought best if I just didn't bother anymore. Well last night they played on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross over here in the U.K. they did two tracks of their new album (In Rainbows?). Once again I was so bored by them, I was just sitting waiting for them to go off, I was actually glad the second song was cut short by the credits. I have no problem with anyone here loving this band - and I know there's quite a few of you - but personally I just don't get it. I have tried as well. This is a band that a lot of us feel we should like. When we don't get it at first it seems like we somehow missed something. Give me three songs that I need to listen to before I give up on this band. I will download them and listen to them several times before going . I really feel I need to give them a proper chance. Creep Karma Police Reckoner Just IMO

  20. QUOTE (PuppetKing2112 @ Apr 4 2008, 10:16 PM) And in something ridiculous that basically only Radiohead would do, they've actually started their own social-networking site. A lot of bands make MySpace or Facebook pages, but they've made their own SITE for their fans. There's not much on it yet because they just launched it today, but it's going to be totally cool once it gets more stuff. www.waste-central.com That's cool. Here's mine if anyone wants to add me as a friend: http://www.waste-central.com/profile/JamesU
