I was not trying to put anyone down at all. It just that I just seeing that film for the first time and it been hitting me that we will never get a one off form Rush, even if Neil was still here. And because I read the very powerful feelings from some folks on here that has seen it and they said that it was so sad after what they all been though. No hard feeling here ok?

Hi, guys, I just started and finish seeing the doc on Rush. It was so heartbreaking to say the least. I was not ready to say goodbye just yet, but, now after Neil's death, it was so sad to see it, being Rush's last tour with Neil. What a greatest band ever to say the least of all bands out there today. I am very sad now after seeing it today of all days. I was so not ready for it to the last of our beloved Boys. In my heart they will always be together. I was NOT expecting it to be very much sadness at all. Did you all was or were ready to say goodbye or was some of you was hoping for more?

This broke my heart all over again and today of all days! l read it all...it hurts now...no words to say

I will be listening to Rush all day today up till the 8th of Jan. It really hurts to see that Neil is not here at all, feels like a dream still to me, but will be thinking of him every single day..Happy New Year, my Rush Family, I miss you all so very much!

Same here even though it is FROWN upon on here...It is really more of a joke to read about them, but to each their own. I know that Geddy and Alex are really married to their wives for over 40+ years, but we gals can dream right?? I mean, Dirxst is definitely not true, but sometimes it's fun to read. Geddy and Alex would probably think it's hilarious. (Actually, they probably know about it...I can see some fan at a meet and greet asking "is there any truth to Dirxst?" and Alex makes some joke about it and Geddy's like LERXST OMG... but I digress.) HAHA! Yes!!!

Aww, RUSHHEAD666, I really didnt know that you were a part of this!! How my heart breaks all over again for you and Neil! But at the same time, happy that you both found peace as very sad to lose Neil this year. I, just liked Neil, am a very private person and only allow a very few into my life. But the love that we all on here have for Rush is very open to you all and others too. I know it hard but it will pass one day. As for the news of Neil's untimely passing being private, that is great to see that such very few of Neil's life has respected his wishes to not make it very public and shared until that Friday of that same week. It is how every single person SHOULD do nowadays and not made public so that fans can storm into the funeral and take pics of the body lying there. OUTRAGEUS! It is very sad that we had to lose Neil so early this year, but, I, as we all, must do the best we can to overcome this, it will be very hard now that the 1st year is now here but it will lessen. As for having social media, it is great, but way better to make/have your profiles set to private and only allowing family and friends only into your life, as I been very much bullied on there and sometimes on here too. Not going to name names but you know how you are on here and that is why I dont come on here too often as I would liked to. I understand that the humor on here is a wee bit dark for me but I just close myself off even more from here. As for a topic of Neil's funeral (somewhere on here), I had said that Neil's family would not made his funeral public as seeing how very private Neil was, and one person on here ended up saying that I was "assuming" when it was very truth! Neil would not want fans going to see his grave at all. How would you liked it if a stranger ended up going to yours? Not great at all. That is why the post on that Friday of that same week said "donations to a Cancer Research in Neil's name" instead. Sorry if I had been ramblings on here too much. Just wanted to say what was on my mind here.

I have enjoyed being in Clockwork Angels (Rush Fans United) OFFICIAL CARFU GROUP! (Sorry I cut and pasted that because the name is long.) There are all kinds of Rush fans in there, from casual ones to ones that are long term intense. The admin. does a good job of keeping snarkiness out (I know, why join right? lol but it gets old) and it's a pretty good group. There's also a Geddy Lee Fan Page group that a lot of the same people are in. Good I will check it out soon!! I heard about the Geddy Lee fan one

I was 18 years old in 2010 when I fell in love with Rush, was together for 5 years in 2015 at 23, then had a small separation in 2018 at age 26 until now. First album was Snake & Arrows: Live 2007 concert film in 2010, then the Time Machine Tour for Christmas of 2012. Was then ask to be back together forever! So they NEVER left me at all, it was me all the time. :laughing guy: Plus, Geddy was the one begging to come back to me! lolololol jk jk!

I took a lot of solace in knowing that Neil's work was finished and he ended things with Rush on his terms. I'm not sure if that helps you through it at all but the man's work had been completed before he died and he left us a great legacy of music which always makes me happy when I listen to it. It does. Thank you so much for this as it been a rough year for all of us here and outside the forum. Losing Neil was not easy (nor is it still) but I do take comfort that he left us with so many things to enjoy be it his writings or the music that still makes me happy to sad in a heartbeat san the post I written above. I say "sweet Neil" because I feel so close to them even if I didn't not really meet them, but it felt liked I DID! It is something to say to quote him when he lost Selena and to "write letters to her" as if he is still here. That is why I say "my sweet Neil" and it will be the same way when, God forbid, Geddy or Alex passes away too as well. I am very "close" to Geddy, (All of them, in fact!), in a way that no one can understand. It is liked a family member (But with me crushing on him! lol). Thank you for everything too as well. May you also Rush on!

Where did you run off to? Haven't seen you for a long time, my friend. I sent you birthday greetings. Aww so very sorry about that lov! Liked I said, school came first before this lol and anyway, been quiet on social media ever since tho not too quiet on here and been checking on here as well too!!

And another thing, I can express my feeling on here as much as I can without insulting a person on here and I dont mean to be rude, but you got a problem with how I write on here and coming after me with what I write then dont comment at all. I loved Neil as much as everyone here but to put me down after this is crazy af. I tend to get very close to a certain things or person because I grew up with it or them. It is a weird little habits that I get whenever I get into something that I love so much. I am not going to be bulled on here for expressing my feelings on here and I been bullied at school, from peers to teachers to know who is poking fun at me. I cant sometimes read feelings but if you knew me, then you will understand where I am coming from when I say "Sweet Neil".

Geddy is NOT heard singing in "The Main Monkey Business" and that the crowd is NOT heard singing "YYZ" in Rio!

I loved "High Water"! It is so refreshing to hear..and I still think that 'Tai Shan" is not loved at all. I heard it and while far be it for me to not liked a song from my boys, this is the only one I didnt liked. It hard to think that you dont love a Rush song, but there it is. Although I loved the 80s Rush era the most (Here we go again!), this is it for me.

Thinking of you last night after reseeing "Time Stands Still". 10 months without my sweet Neil, and soon, 1 year in Jan of 2021. Cant still believe that you are not here anymore...

Hi all. Been doing ok after all this and you guys are the BEST when comforting each other at a time liked this. Been busy with college stuff do be on here but just wanted to let you all know that Neil is always with me and with us mo matter where we are in the world. Love you all lot and to RUSHHEAD666, You are a joy do be around!! And Lorrene, ya didnt miss too much of Neils death other than it was such a shock to us fans to lose him at such a young age...Hope you are well and be at peace as Neil is not in pain anymore.
