I'll take that light. :) But would you pay $4.52 for that light, without even being able to see what it looks like? Because that's the price difference between BB and Amazon (not including shipping or taxes, if applicable). Well, we are three weeks from release so I expect the pricing to be a little fluid.. hopefully lower by November 20. I do not have Prime so I would either pay exorbitant shipping with Amazon to have it in my mailbox on 11/20, or I would have to wait an extra week for the free shipping if I managed to get my cart up to $35. My main objective is to have the Blu ray/CD combo in my hands by lunchtime on 11/20.I have already decided that I'm getting it at Best Buy, then I'll take the afternoon off from work to bask in all of R40 Live's glory. :yay: :rush: yeah, what he said...basking into the glory!

I agree! But what's 7/4 mean? Short answer... It means I'm a music nerd. Long answer... It means that there are 7 beats per measure. Most songs have 4. It's one of the many things that Rush does that sets them apart from the rest of the pack. Thankfully it is not necessary to understand any of that to enjoy their music, but it enhances my love for them. This paragraph is a thing of beauty. Rush on my brother! :haz:

GM, 7/4 is a time signature in musical terms .. it is in regards to the beat, and how many beats per measure, etc ... 7/4 is actually an unusual signature in music Most simple rock songs are 4/4 ( ... which there is nothing wrong with ) . . thanks for explaining. I'm not a musician, so I don't understand a lot of the technical terms.

oh yeah, I just remembered the back ground vocals on Wish them Well. That part sucks. Ok, maybe I'm not liking it as much as I thought I did.

Ok, moving on to Wish them well. Very underrated IMO. I love the melody & I agree with the idea that sometimes you just need to walk away & realize you can't fix everyone (see Melody Beauttie's book, codependent no more) Now, I won't be wishing any demons well anytime, ever, But other than that line, I really like the song.

There are support groups and counselors for this very same issue It effected many RUSH fans, some traumatically yes & I'm one of them!

4 of 4 ( about superconductor ) So, you may wonder, how can I still love it after all that? A great question. I pretend it's a happy song & try to ignore the sarcasm. I just focus on the purity & beauty of Geddy & Alex voices and... that strong & simple beat, that you can dance to. Superconductor...superconductor... :banana: (I'm still mad at Neil though, about the core meaning of the song. My superhero theme would have been much better & would of course require some lyric changes.)

(And Geddy, I don't like your hair like that either) Another side note, I never realized it was Alex singing the word "superconductor" over again & over again. I love his voice on that! He can sing, who knew?

I gotta tell ya, I was CRUSHED! The song I'd loved all those years was just a bunch of sarcasm?!?! It was the first time I felt let down by Rush. :(

1 of 4, (about superconductor) I'm a freak among freaks I guess. I love it. I went a looooong time not listening to any Rush & every so often, out of nowhere, I would catch myself singing just "superconductor...watch his every move" I never paid much attention to the words other than those, so for many years I had it in my mind it was about some sort of charismatic superhero guy. Like "oh, I bet he has electrical powers or something..." & I never watched videos either, so I never saw the video.

the CA show tape that everyone speaks of that sucks so bad. Is it the same one as is in the blu ray/DVD box set that they sold at the R40 show? I want to see what everyone is talking about.

I hope they don't do a lot of tinkering. I think some mistakes make it more interesting.
