Carly Cosgrove - See You In Chemistry (Vinyl) EP, I feel this would be up your alley. It's a phenomenal album that mixes Midwest Emo, punk, and math rock. All the song titles are quotes from Drake & Josh, or iCarly. It was one of my favorite albums from last year. I got to see them in March, and I got my records signed. Kesha - Gag Order (Vinyl) A strong contender for my album of the year. This album is very experimental, and is very psychedelic and electronic-influenced. I was absolutely not expecting this from Kesha, but I absolutely love it. Monuments - The Amanuensis Monuments - Phronesis Two very heavy albums. Monuments is progressive metalcore/djent band that's been around for over a decade. I'm seeing them open for Jinjer next month.

I'm a huge fan of Every Time I Die. I was lucky enough to see them live twice.

Better Lovers - God Made Me An Animal (EP) Jinjer - Wallflowers Better Lovers is a new supergroup featuring Greg Puciato of Dillinger Escape Plan, three members of Every Time I Die, and famed metal producer Will Putney.

Agreed. I would also argue that Karma is god-tier.

I've listened to a lot of new music this year. Over 30 albums, and at least 10 EPs. I'm not sure about the order, but here are my favorite releases so far. Silverstein - Arrivals & Departures (Vinyl) (With bonus 7")

I definitely wasn't expecting the Albany show. They're doing a ton of headline shows on the off-dates of their summer tour, where they're opening for Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin.

I'm going to the Albany date. It's about two hours closer for me.

Hell yeah! A good friend and I are seeing them in August. I'm very excited!
