A Rebel and a Runner

Yeah, everyone here seems nice enough. That's probably why I don't read/post here much. Nice is boring, and I'm a contentious, argumentative contrarian. So I yell at people at CP instead.

There are a few. One of whom is even an admin. Like most places in Rush fandom, however, it's a bit of a sausagefest. And given the behavior of some of the dudes there, unsurprisingly so.

Yeah, and you folks in here who have only ever heard the bad stuff ought to check it out, see if it really isn't up your alley or if you might not find another place to poke around when you're bored.

Notice we don't mock anyone else the way we do you, as well, though. You act like a hyperactive twelve-year-old who just read The Cave for the first time, and we'll treat you like an overactive twelve=year-old who needs to chill out. Also, apparently TRF is where we CPeeps go to air our dirty laundry. Go figure. We really are the Jerry Springer show!

Ahahahahaha! Seeing my shit is a sort of in-joke from Counterparts. I posted a picture from ratemypoo.com (don't go there, you have been warned) in response to something, I don't even remember the context anymore. Anyway, one person there took it -way- too seriously, and it's sort of been a thing ever since.

I came over as Good Will Ambassador. The kind who scowls at you and maybe flings poo (potentially his own) at the side of your house.

As a prod contrarian, I'll stick up for at least my own reputation as one of the "jerks" at CP. I love to argue. I don't mean anything personal by it, but if you talk to me, on just about any forum or in real life, I don't like just agreeing with people. Makes conversations boring. At CP we tend to think of ourselvs as the "biker bar" of the fandom. Anything goes, have a thick skin, but be aware that everyone else has one, too, so you can feel free to cut loose. A nice side-effect of that atmosphere is that the discussions can get to some pretty candid, meaningful topics. Our politics discussions, or religion discussions, or even discussions about music can take some very interesting turns, and I've never looked at a thread at CP that's winding down and thought "that conversation went just the way it always does when this topic is brought up." You guys are nice. But... well, nice is boring. :P
