  1. I think this recent interview question and answer with Geddy is quite telling. I'm not sure people appreciate how difficult it is to do what they do night in and night out. I believe it's reasonable to expect them to pick songs that they enjoy playing AND that might be, at least, a little easier on Ged's voice. Your first concert for the upcoming tour is Sept. 7 in Manchester, N.H. Is touring easier these days? Easier? I find it more stressful than when I was younger. I think the physical part of it takes its toll on me, and the other guys I know for sure. Staying healthy becomes a more difficult challenge, and as the tour winds on, nerves fray in a different way than they used to. Although, you have more confidence than when you were younger, and more command of your instrument [and], as a result, more command of your audience's attention, which makes it easier. There is kind of a physical price you pay as the tour winds on, whereas when I was younger I could be in almost any condition, get out there and bang it off. I'm grateful for the audiences that we have, wherever we go. But it's a difficult thing for me to do right now. If they played all the 70's stuff we ALL would love to hear them play Ged's voice would probably be shot by show #10.
  2. Middletown Dreams for Force 10 2112 for Working Man The Pass for Bravado SCoG for WTW Dreamline.....Eh If that happens then any night I catch them on this tour I'll be happy.
  3. QUOTE (GeminiRising79 @ Sep 8 2012, 11:31 AM) These YouTube videos confirm my suspicion of it being a boring concert. Hopefully they'll pull it together for next one. If they don't return next year I could care less. Yes, disappointed... Note: The entire conceptual idea for having a strings section was an absolutely piss-poor decision. Completely ridiculous and out of place in any Rush concert. Yes, angry. They have been talking about implementing some strings into their live show for a few years now. It's obviously something that THEY want to do. Shocker!! A band of extremely talented artists want to do something that they want to do!! Some Rush fans are frustrating. I understand being disappointed but there is also something to be said for them doing their own thing. I applaud them for having the balls to work up this kind of setlist and bringing the strings out with them.
  4. There will be a B setlist with some songs switched out for these. "The Pass," "Middletown Dreams," "Dreamline," "Seven Cities of Gold," and "2112" for the encore. No clue which songs they will replace but it's going to happen.
  5. I certainly welcome Middletown Dreams and 2112 is always a crowd pleaser even though they play it often. Love The Pass too. Dreamline? Eh. I'm scared what they may replace with that song. It's all about which songs they replace.
  6. Some may get 2112 after all. Here are the different songs that will be played in the B setlist. No clue which songs they will replace them with though. "The Pass," "Middletown Dreams," "Dreamline," "Seven Cities of Gold," and "2112" for the encore. The list has been seen by someone who I trust 100%. If I'm right just give me some props please. LOL
  7. Promise I'm not a troll. I had a login on here before but it's been awhile. I have it on very good authority that there is a B setlist. It's been seen. I personally haven't been told exactly what songs will be switched out but here are the songs that will be played on the B list that are different from tonight's list. "The Pass," "Middletown Dreams," "Dreamline," "Seven Cities of Gold," and "2112" for the encore. Seems pretty legit based on tonight's list. I know the person who saw the list and gave me this info and I 100% trust them. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
