I'm excited as hell that it's coming back! Sad but true. Two and a Half Men gets 10 seasons and counting, but Firefly gets ONE?!! Dollhouse gets TWO?? Screw you, American TV watching public. Screw you. *shakes head and walks away slowly with hands in pockets* You're forgetting that Two And A Half Men is on CBS, a channel that knows how to promote the crap out of their shows. The rest of the shows were on FOX, who has problems doing that a lot. Dollhouse should've been cancelled when it was. Yes, it was an original story but by the time the second season came the show got so convoluted you couldn't figure out what the hell was going on. Firefly's problem was that it was on FOX. The moment you see that show it screams "Sci-Fi Channel". If it had been on there it would've had a respectable run of maybe four of five seasons. Of, course how cute Jewel Staite is should've got Firefly at least three seasons. If I were to make a list of shows that got absolutely screwed, Firefly would be number one. The show was never even given a chance at all. Now with that out of they way, FOX crapped the bed with Arrested Developement to. At some point they just stopped caring and gave it bad timeslots. Like airing it against Monday Night Football on the west coast and having the last few episodes on during the olympics. No show is gonna survive that and they pretty much set it up to fail at the end, probably so the station could go onto whatever flavor of the month show they were in love with at the time. I hope the rumored movie does happen so we can get some closure on all the characters. Good news! There's going to be a new movie AND season. But yes, leave it to FOX to destroy another great tv show. I read about the new season to. Supposedly each episode will focus on one specific character in order to update everyone on what they've been up to. Yes! Apparently that is what they're going to be doing in those episodes. So cross your fingers.

    Interview

Here's the link to an interview with Jian Ghomeshi from the Q. I love this guy! So enjoy. http://www.cbc.ca/q/popupaudio.html?clipId...7,%202244948183
  3. Even if you have the album, already! Everyone, BUY THE ALBUM AGAIN off of iTunes!

  5. I personally think that Vapor Trails (except sound quality) and S&A are amazing albums. So my trifecta has already happened.. :\ I hope for another trifecta!
  6. QUOTE (HeadlongMark @ Jun 12 2012, 09:22 AM) While driving home after picking up dinner last night, I saw a truck hauling a funnel cake stand that you see at fairs. Threw on Carnies instantly. Possibly one of the best things I have heard this week thus far.
  7. QUOTE (Kelly D @ Jun 12 2012, 08:39 AM) Great review, but I gotta point out something fundamentally WRONG in it- the world that Neil paints in the lyrics is NOTHING like Cormac McCarthy's The Road. . . Dystopia =/= "the future as it ought to have been"! Ohp. Good point. That's like a post-apocalyptic scenario. And I know he was kind of broad with the "best vocals of his career" but maybe he means like...post Test for Echo?
  8. I work at Starbucks and not joking. There is a regular that comes in every day and he looks identical to Alex. I even stopped him and asked if he had ever heard of Rush. Of course, he said "no"....I'm on to you, Alex.
  9. What is with the lack of Clockwork Angels on Metacritic? I actually enjoy going to this site and reading reviews by people and such. Screw you Metacritic! You left out one of the most important albums of the century.

It's sick. It's just dumb.
  11. His bass in BU2B's chorus is probably one of my favorite lines from him. Ever.
  12. Yes. I heard about the movie. Very excited for that. Only FOX would get rid of such popular shows...lol. And good thing I have Netflix!
  13. Haven't seen any threads about this glorious show. Any fans of it here? Buster is probably my favorite character.
  14. Has someone forgotten John Carpenter's The Thing!?
  15. Yes! No one I know (except my dad) knows/likes MST3K! I am so happy I have found others. lol. My personal favorites are Touch of Satan, Horrors of Spider-Island (personal fave), Soul Taker, and Werewolf. So ungodly funny, these guys are. Clip from Horrors of Spider-Island: ..."Actress" is attempting to hang a pot while talking to others and cooking but completely misses the rack....drops the pan whilst looking confused. Mike, mimicking the actress - "It didn't stay in the air!"
  16. I just dropped 50 IQ points from just reading his grammar.
  17. QUOTE (Tommy Sawyer @ Jun 11 2012, 10:23 AM) What's with all the hate for 7 Cities? My favorite song on the album... Agreed. The bass is crazy in it.
  18. QUOTE (ALifeson85 @ Jun 11 2012, 10:11 AM) QUOTE (ShlappinDahBass @ Jun 11 2012, 08:17 AM) I thought, during the Time Machine tour DVD, I saw a zeppelin flying around? I could be completely wrong and going crazy. Nope - not crazy...there IS a zeppelin flying around the arena on that DVD...it had a camera attached to the bottom of it, to capture overhead crowd shots Yes! That is a brilliant idea. These guys just keep getting bettah and bettah. Btw, I love your avatar. That video cracks me up every time.
  19. QUOTE (Pound of Obscure @ Jun 11 2012, 09:51 AM) I think Witch Hunt is the only concert worthy song of the four. Its been done alot. I think the Enemy Within would be sweet to listen to! Neil did an awesome job on the drums in it.
  20. QUOTE (Merely Space @ Jun 11 2012, 08:31 AM) I'm lovin' all the love Rush is getting with this album, but it feels kinda strange. I'm not used to it. I hope Rolling Stone hurries up with their review, so I can say "Gah! These critics just don't get it. They're so snobbish!" What if they love it and you still stick with that quote?..Oh no!!
  21. Good review! I'm happy that I haven't seen a negative one, yet. These guys deserve it. On a random note, it said on the bottom "Peter Gabriel" was a similar album to Clockwork Angels...lol wut?
  22. I thought, during the Time Machine tour DVD, I saw a zeppelin flying around? I could be completely wrong and going crazy.
  23. I've been seeing a lot recently what they've (the fans) been thinking what the lyrics mean to JUST Neil. But even Neil himself has stated that he wants his lyrics to mean something personal to his fans. Even if it branches off the actual story of Clockwork Angels itself. So, it can completely have a different meaning to you! Wondering what your interpretations were for the lyrics? Especially in songs like BU2B, the Anarchist, the Wreckers, and the Garden. Neil's lyrics are so diverse and underestimated from other bands. I'm sure there can be some pretty crazy personal theories or meanings to these songs. Long live !!
