Dave Matthews (yes, of the Dave Matthews Band) just wrapped filming of an episode of House. The episode is also guest-starring Kurtwood Smith (better known as Red Forman on that 70's show). In the episode, Dave Matthews is a pianist who all of a sudden loses his ability to play. His father, Kurtwood Smith, brings him to the hospital. I've already seen the walkthrough sheet of the episode, and let me tell you, there's something in the episode that effects the entire series. It has to do with Dr. House (PM me if you want to know, but like I said- it's big).

King's going back to the big screen, and this time, in a good way. The last few Stephen King movies have all been fairly poor quality, with no big names. But his next movie "1408" (my favorite short story of "Everything's Eventual") stars John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson, and is slated for a spring 2007 release. I am very excited.

Have every episode on DVD. I've got this season's episodes on my computer by... alternative methods.

Up there for best comedy of the year, along with Thank You For Smoking and Borat.

Sorry for the miscommunication, I actually meant the show they've had in development for awhile "La Triviata". My fault I didn't specify that. As for the movie, it looks fantastic. In the 2nd teaser trailer (found here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=RP-33l5LzSU ), when Nick throws the DVD into the bin, it actually falls next to SotD, which has been renamed "Zombies Party".

I forgot they were making this. I saw the thread title and went... "Wait... it couldn't be..."

I learned of them via the Dave Matthews Band. DMB has taken them under their wing the past few years (Randolph has opened around 35 shows in 2005 and 2006). During shows they open, Robert comes out on stage with his lap-steel for the last 2 songs of DMB's set. On their new album Colorblind, Dave Matthews, LeRoi Moore (saxophone) and Rashawn Ross (trumpet) of DMB are featured on a track. In a few weeks, I'm going to be seeing them in a venue that holds less than a thousand. Talk about intimate.

If you don't have an independent theatre near you, than I can see where you're coming from. I mean currently playing at my indie theatre- Bobby The Blood Diamond The Fountain Babel Apocalypto The Departed The Queen All of those are amazing movies.

This suggestion shouldn't suprise anyone, but... http://www.a-film.nl/film/poster/RELx550/00000143.jpg It combines every element of film I love- suspense, dark comedy, science-fiction, straight up science, intense character development, and drama. You become Donnie Darko (Jake Gyllenhaal's character) while watching this movie. All of my movies that make my top-10 are movies that you need to watch multiple times to catch everything. Donnie Darko is no exeption. Definitely a must-see.

The book was horrible, and the film was an abortion. What, too strong? I hated both. I can't believe the American public latched onto such a horrible writer.

Just went and saw this again, to see if it stood up to my ranking of top 3 Bonds ever. It completely did. This movie is fantastic, top to bottom.

Both of my pictures have been ignored... I spent seconds over a hot Photoshop for nothing! NOTHING!!!!
